Creamy Garlic Aioli:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Taco Assembly:

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage (green or purple)
  • ½ cup diced avocado
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp:

  1. Season the Shrimp: Toss the shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Coat evenly.
  2. Heat the Pan: Set a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Place shrimp in the skillet and cook for 2 minutes per side until blackened and fully cooked. Remove from heat.

Make the Garlic Aioli:

  1. Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lime juice, minced garlic, honey, and salt. Adjust to taste.

Assemble the Tacos:

  1. Warm the Tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft.
  2. Fill the Tacos: Divide the blackened shrimp among the tortillas.
  3. Add Toppings: Layer with shredded cabbage, diced avocado, and cilantro.
  4. Drizzle the Aioli: Spoon the creamy garlic aioli over the tacos.
