Instructions
Prepare the Batter:
Preheat the Oven:
Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, stir together oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and chocolate chips.
Combine Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk almond butter, honey, egg, vanilla extract, and applesauce until smooth.
Mix Everything Together:
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
Bake the Bars:
Transfer to Pan:
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Bake:
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 18–20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
Cool and Slice:

Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
